Lucky Duck Books was launched in 2024 by children’s book creators Lindsay Ward and Frank Tupta.

Why Lucky?

We consider ourselves lucky to be a part of your family’s story time.

Why Duck?

We have a small flock of ducks that wonder our yard: Chainsaw, Bob, Rexy, Blanche, Joy, Linda B., Linda C., Quackers, Lucielle, Betty, Ducky, and Buster. They run the backyard. 

Why Books?

For Frank, the picture book era of his childhood was the last time he really loved reading. It’s what made him come back to it as an adult.

For Lindsay, books were an escape growing up. A way to dive into another world. Now, she feels lucky enough to create them everyday. 

We are Lucky Duck Books.

We consider ourselves lucky ducks to be apart of your family’s story time. It is our hope to spread joy and laughter through our books. As traditionally published authors with three kids, we’ve struggled to find the kind of books we wanted to share with our family for the past few years. We want to bring all the funny back. Slapstick comedy. Sarcasm. A pie in the face. And yes, even farts. Because farts are funny. We hope our books make you laugh.
